Hi, I am Steph!

I'm from Honduras, and I moved to the US to study film — ended up learning everything from directing to editing to screenwriting, basically all the pieces that go into making something on screen. I started at the bottom too: PA-ing on set, cutting footage, doing whatever needed doing to actually learn the job instead of just talking about it.

That grind is basically why I approach design the way I do now. I'm always chasing the next technique, poking at "the way things are done," trying to get better. I keep tabs on what's happening in the design world, follow people whose work I respect, and I'm not shy about looking for mentors.

When I'm not working, I unwind with baking, traveling, and eating good food — pretty much my holy trinity. Throw in the occasional massage too, because apparently my back has opinions about my age now
